Watercolor Journaling
An art journal is a wonderful place to record vacations, events, feelings, special places, almost anything! I've used my journals to record a vacation in Bermuda and to record the backyard bird activity that takes place daily outside my windows. I've illustrated song lyrics or sayings that mean something to me, and I've made a journal to thank a lovely and dedicated horse rescuer. Loose pages that can be creatively gathered into a book or bound watercolor journals work well. Of course, a lovely bound watercolor book also works well. This summer (2020) I've continued working on my watercolor and ink journals recording the birds and animals that visit my backyard. It's a wonderful way to enjoy nature, and one of my favorite art ventures.
